We designed Fyndar to run on as little data as possible. This page is written to read like an honest explanation, not a legal document.

If you use it without an account

• None of your data reaches us. Fyndar has no server of its own; the site is made of static files.
• The location you search is sent directly from your browser to OpenStreetMap services (Overpass API, Nominatim) to fetch business data. These queries are not tied to your identity and are not stored by us.
• Your saved business list and your WhatsApp message template live only in your own browser (localStorage). Clearing your browser data deletes them.
• We use no tracking cookies, run no analytics or tracking tools, and sell no data. The only cookie the site may set is a single language preference (nf_lang) when you use the TR/EN switcher — it stores nothing but your chosen language.

If you create an account (optional)

• Sign-in and data storage use Google's Firebase infrastructure.
• The only data stored is: your email address and your saved business list (business name, contact details, the status label you set).
• Only you can access this data; it is never shared with other users or third parties, and never sold.
• If you sign in with Google, Google's own privacy terms also apply.

About the business data

The business details listed (name, phone, email, website, address) come from OpenStreetMap's public database and are subject to the ODbL license. These are businesses' publicly available commercial contact details; their freshness is not guaranteed.

Responsible use

Fyndar was built for reaching businesses in a personal and respectful way. Don't use the tool for bulk or unsolicited messaging (spam); it's ineffective and may violate applicable laws and platform rules. Responsibility lies with the user.

Data deletion and contact

To delete your account and your cloud-stored list, just email us: info@lumicweb.com. Without an account there is nothing to delete on our side — clearing your browser data is enough.
