By using Fyndar you accept the terms below. We kept them short and honest — 2 minutes to read.

What is the service?

Fyndar is a free tool that lists the businesses around you using open map data. The service is provided "as is"; no guarantee is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Features may change or be discontinued without prior notice.

Data source and accuracy

• Business details (name, phone, email, website, address) are publicly available data entered by OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL license. Fyndar does not own this data and has no official affiliation with OpenStreetMap.
• The freshness and accuracy of the data are not guaranteed. Verify details yourself before contacting a business or making any commercial decision.
• Labels like "No website" only mean no record exists on OpenStreetMap; the business may in fact have one.

Responsible use

• Fyndar was built for reaching businesses in a personal and respectful way. You may not use the tool for bulk or unsolicited messaging (spam), harassment or misleading communication.
• Commercial electronic messaging is subject to the laws of your country (for example ETK/İYS in Turkey, and equivalent regulations elsewhere). Legal responsibility for every message you send is yours.
• Bulk scraping the data for resale, or using it in violation of OpenStreetMap's ODbL license, is prohibited.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts found to be abusing the service, without prior notice. How account data is handled is described on the privacy page.

Limitation of liability

Fyndar and its developers cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use or inability to use Fyndar, from inaccuracies in the listed data, or from outages in third-party services (map services, WhatsApp, etc.).
